Roles to start with in Glasgow.

Glasgow combines financial services and business support with engineering, life sciences, universities, and a large creative scene in film, television and music. Renewable energy and public-sector bodies add to a mixed economy of firms of every size. Many Glasgow businesses are mid-sized firms that grew out of engineering or trade, with a back office that has not kept pace and a pile of manual data to clear.

Questions from Glasgow

Glasgow is Scotland's largest city. It keeps UK time (GMT or BST), which is UTC+0 or UTC+1. Glasgow changes its clocks for daylight saving, so the overlap with some of our hubs moves by an hour for part of the year.

Project admin, supplier tracking, documentation and reporting. A Project Manager or Operations Coordinator keeps plans and actions current in your tools on your hours.

Yes. Short-Form Video Editor, Motion Designer and Graphic Designer are Seat roles, and Studio supplies finished creative work quoted in hours.

Yes. Seats are month to month with 30 days' notice and no setup fee. Many early teams add one person at part-time hours first.

A Customer Service Representative for first-line enquiries, and a Customer Success Manager for accounts that need a follow-up call or a plan. Tell us the volume and the hours on your demo.

You set the hours. The Nigeria hub shares 7-8 hours of a Glasgow 9-to-5, and we match people who can work the shifts you describe.

Site work, lab work and anything that needs a person in the room. A Seat takes the paperwork, tracking and follow-up that sit around it.

A Property Management Assistant or Maintenance Coordinator handles tenant messages, repair requests and renewals in your property software. Your team attends the properties.

A local admin in the UK costs £12.71 an hour at entry level, up to £25.52 for a senior office manager, before on-costs. A local mid-level admin costs £16 an hour; an Intermediate admin Seat is £7 an hour, all-in. Yes, as long as you want ongoing capacity rather than one-off jobs. For one-off finished work, Studio is quoted in hours before we start.

Festival and conference seasons, term starts and the run-up to the March year-end bring crunches. A Seat can carry the repeat work, such as resizes, bookings and chasing, so your team is free for the live work.

Week one is your project tool and reporting template. The person then updates the action log and supplier chases each day, and flags anything slipping before your weekly meeting.

List your project tool, accounting package and design or file-sharing software, for example Asana, Xero or Adobe tools. We match people who already work in them, so the person starts on your jobs, not on set-up.

A Bookkeeper is often followed by a Project Manager or Data Entry Specialist as paperwork grows. Creative studios tend to add a Graphic Designer first and a Motion Designer later.
