Roles to start with in London.
London is where many of the UK's banks, insurers, law firms, agencies, media houses and software companies sit side by side. Most of them run on documents, deadlines and client calls, and a lot of the work behind those calls does not need a desk in the capital. The city also has a long tail of small firms: boutique consultancies, studios, charities and one-person practices that carry a big-firm workload with a small-firm team.

Executive Assistant
Partners, founders and directors with packed diaries get the inbox, travel and board papers off their desks. Typical work is calendar triage, expense reports, travel and pulling a meeting pack together the night before.
Intern to SpecialistSee roleBookkeeper
Small agencies and consultancies keep their books current without a full-time finance hire. Month-end reconciliations, supplier bills and payroll prep, so the founder stops doing the books on Sundays.
Intern to SpecialistSee roleParalegal
Firms hand over bundles, chronologies and document review so fee-earners spend their hours on advice. Bundle indexing, document review and chronologies, checked by the fee-earner before anything goes out.
Intern to SpecialistSee roleDigital Marketing Specialist
In-house teams and agencies run campaigns and reporting in a crowded, expensive ad market. Campaign set-up, weekly reporting and landing-page tests, usually in the ad platforms you already pay for.

Product teams add build capacity for web and app work by the month. Component builds and bug fixes in your repository, reviewed by your own lead before they merge.

Questions from London
London is the capital of the United Kingdom. It keeps UK time (GMT or BST), which is UTC+0 or UTC+1. London changes its clocks for daylight saving, so the overlap with some of our hubs moves by an hour for part of the year.
The repeatable desk work: diary and inbox management, bookkeeping, document preparation and chasing. A Seat does it in your tools on your hours, and your senior people keep the client-facing work.
Yes. Agencies often start with a Digital Marketing Specialist, a Graphic Designer or a Short-Form Video Editor and add people as the pipeline fills. Studio is there when you would rather buy finished creative work than manage a person.
Most start with an Executive Assistant or a General Virtual Assistant, because they free the most senior hours. A Bookkeeper is usually the second hire, then a specialist for whatever slows you down.
Yes. A Property Management Assistant or Leasing Coordinator handles viewings admin, tenant messages, maintenance requests and renewals in your property software.
You set the hours. The Nigeria hub shares 7-8 hours of a London 9-to-5, and we match people who can work earlier or later when a deadline needs it. Say so on your demo.
Anything that needs a licence, a signature or a person in the room: regulated advice, court or client meetings, and final approval. A Seat prepares the work around them.
Yes. An Administrative Assistant keeps supporter records, donation records and event lists tidy, and an Email & CRM Marketer runs the newsletters. Your team keeps the relationships and the decisions.
A local admin in the UK costs £12.71 an hour at entry level, up to £25.52 for a senior office manager, before on-costs. You decide the access. Most teams give a Seat the same accounts a new local hire would get, nothing more, and tell us on the demo which systems the person will touch.
Financial and tax year-ends, results seasons and renewal rounds all land on the same small teams. Add a Seat a month ahead, brief it on the checklist, and release it afterwards with 30 days' notice.
Week one is access, templates and a shared task list. Weeks two to four move from supervised tasks to a regular rhythm, with a short weekly review so you can adjust the hours or the role.
List your email and calendar, your accounting package, your document or case system and your CRM, for example Microsoft 365, Xero, QuickBooks or HubSpot. We match people who already work in the tools you name, so the first week is spent on your process, not on learning software.
After an Executive Assistant the common second Seat is a Bookkeeper, then a role for the work that slows revenue: a Paralegal for a law practice, a Digital Marketing Specialist for an agency, a developer for a product team.

Melbourne is 9-11 hours ahead of London. Our head office is there, and your person works on your London hours, not ours.

No. We're a remote team that works on your hours, and every call and demo is on Teams. Our head office is in Melbourne.
We do. We hire your person and supply them to you under our services agreement, so you are not their employer and there is no payroll on your side. You direct the work and you own what they make.
