Roles to start with in Manchester.

Manchester has a strong digital and media scene, with agencies, broadcasters and production companies, alongside online retailers, sports and events businesses, and professional services firms. Many of them are growing quickly and watch cash closely. Salford's media sector and the city's universities feed a steady supply of start-ups, so many Manchester teams are small, ambitious and short of hands in the same months.

Questions from Manchester

Manchester is a city in the north-west of England. It keeps UK time (GMT or BST), which is UTC+0 or UTC+1. Manchester changes its clocks for daylight saving, so the overlap with some of our hubs moves by an hour for part of the year.

Listings, order handling and customer messages. An E-commerce Assistant works your shop platform and helpdesk on your hours, so a launch or sale week is not limited by your own team's capacity.

Yes. Short-Form Video Editor, Motion Designer and Graphic Designer are Seat roles, and Studio does finished creative work quoted in hours. Many teams try a 5-hour Test Drive first.

Yes. Seats are month to month with 30 days' notice, so you can add a person before the peak and review it afterwards. Part-time Seats are available from the minimum weekly hours.

A Social Media Manager for match-day and event content, and a Customer Service Representative for ticket and booking messages. Tell us the busiest weeks on your demo.

You set the hours. The Nigeria hub shares 7-8 hours of a Manchester 9-to-5, which suits live support. Hubs with less overlap suit work handed over at the end of your day.

On-site work, the customer relationship at events, and final creative approval. A Seat handles the preparation, the follow-up and the repeat tasks around them.

Yes. Start with one person at part-time hours, see how the work lands in a month, then add or stop with 30 days' notice. Studio's 5-hour Test Drive is another low-risk way to see the standard.

A local admin in the UK costs £12.71 an hour at entry level, up to £25.52 for a senior office manager, before on-costs. A local mid-level admin costs £16 an hour; an Intermediate admin Seat is £7 an hour, all-in. Many do. The person works inside your project tool and brand templates, and the client only deals with your agency. You agree the hours and the checks before work starts.

Autumn sales, the run-up to Christmas and the football season put the heaviest load on orders, messages and content. Bring a person in before the peak so they are trained when it arrives.

Week one covers your shop platform, helpdesk and tone of voice. By week three the person is clearing listings and routine messages on their own, with you reviewing a sample each day.

Name your shop platform, helpdesk, inventory sheet and ad accounts, such as Shopify, Zendesk, Google Ads or Meta. We match people who already work in them, so the person starts on your orders rather than on training.

After an E-commerce Assistant, the usual second Seat is a Customer Service Representative, then a Social Media Manager or Short-Form Video Editor once content becomes the bottleneck.

No. We're a remote team that works on your hours, and every call and demo is on Teams. Our head office is in Melbourne.

We do. We hire your person and supply them to you under our services agreement, so you are not their employer and there is no payroll on your side. You direct the work and you own what they make.
